We have been asked by some of our clients whether the Immigration Service has suspended processing requests for advance parole, or travel permits, for DACA recipients. The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) has confirmed that USCIS “continues “to process all applications, petitions, and requests consistent with current statutory laws, regulations, and policies.” Please note that USCIS and CBP have always maintained that advance parole does not guarantee admission to the United States.
